FLOPPED STARS IN 2010-2011 EPL

Welcome to the show of Flop stars.

You have seen players race for the Golden boot, race for the PFA player of the year award, race for becoming a hero, becoming a legend. But sometimes, they run vertically down the career curve and that is when they seem to be called as flops, fallen angels or heroes turned to zeros.

Here Is My List Of Flop Stars

1.Manuel Almunia (Arsenal)
could be heading out of Arsenal Football Club this summer.Arsene Wenger has finally lost patience with his number one of last season, and is closing on a deal to sign Fulham’s Australian shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer.
The Gunners coach has recently confessed that Almunia struggles with confidence ahead of big games, and it is difficult to see the Spaniard having much of a future at the Emirates Stadium.According to The People, Almunia, formerly of Celta Vigo, could be heading back to Spain, where Atletico Madrid are prepared to offer the 33-year-old a fresh start. However, he could eve struggle for regular first team football at the Vicente Calderon, as Atletico have two fine young goalkeepers in Sergio Asenjo and David De Gea.

2.Christian Poulsen (Liverpool)
Danish midfielder has failed to impress since his £4.5 million summer move from Juventus and could be on his way out of Anfield as soon as January.New director of football strategy Damien Comolli does not believe Poulsen has a future at Liverpool and wants to bring in a younger replacement with more potential. It is believed manager Roy Hodgson would back the sale of the former Sevilla star but only if an upgrade can be brought in as he is concerned by the small size of his squad.

3.Yaya Toure (Man City)
Yaya Toure is the highest paid midfielder now with the rich dad Manchester City.City's manager Mancini grabbed Toure from Barcelona as a free agent and offered him the highest ever paid salary. However, we find no logic behind signing Toure. City had Vincent Kompany and Nigel De Jong who were developing as good future players. The addition of Toure simply means a block in the career of those.Secondly, highest paid player? No you gotta be kidding.Toure is known for his physical prowess and technical ability on the pitch, he is a monster and can dominate over the players. However, he has shown no sign of greatness since his transfer and will be just "good" for City this year. And you don't spend millions behind a "just good" player. Logical enough to mark him as a flop one.

4 Joe Cole (Liverpool)
Cole has been a microcosm of Liverpool’s season. Having made changes over the summer both entered the season with expectations relatively low, coming off a down year they were expected to return to their level of form if not better. These modest expectations have not been met. Joe Cole continues to frustrate, a bright pre-season was marred by a lapse in judgement as he ruled himself out for 3 matches. On his return he was placed on the left wing, despite his preference to play in the middle of the pitch where he feels he is best, as a left winger he has been poor. His crossing is not of the standard required and as he drifts inside he clutters the middle of the pitch alongside Lucas, Gerrard, Meireles and Maxi who also tends to drift inside. Not to labour the point but this would be effective if Liverpool’s full-backs were allowed to overlap. No, Joe Cole has shown the same level of performance for Liverpool as he did for Chelsea, alot was made of the youngster coming through at West Ham, now 28 (29 in a week) Cole has fulfilled none of that promise. At Stamford Bridge last year as Inter knocked out Chelsea Cole was introduced to a large cheer from the fans but he flattered to deceive as usual and was inconsequential for 20 minutes. At Liverpool he continues this poor form. In a position that doesn’t suit him, taking playing time away from players who could be more useful on the wing Joe Cole’s tenure at Liverpool has been as bad as their season

5 Raul Meireles: (Liverpool)
The Portuguese midfielder was one of the more expensive (excluding Man City) transfers of the summer. Bought with the proceeds of Javier Mascherano’s forced sale, Meireles was to replace the defensive nature of the Argentinean with some creativity and dynamism, so far all Meireles has accomplished has been to make Lucas look better by comparison. This is (of course) not to write him off completely, he has never been a prolific goal-scorer and is more a box-to-box player who very rarely misses a game, however so far he has shown very little quality to go with his effort. His passing has seemed limited (this may be a tactical instruction) and his shooting has been woeful, in a Liverpool team that has been all accounts terrible it would be hard to stand out or even excel but for 12 million more has been expected

I need a break

I need a break!

For a couple years I've been blaming it on
lack of sleep and too much pressure from my job,
but now I found out the real reason:

I'm tired because I'm overworked!

The population of this country is 237 million.

104 million are retired.

That leaves 133 million to do the work.

There are 85 million in school,
which leaves 48 million to do the work.

Of this there are 29 million employed
by the federal government,
leaving 19 million to do the work.

2.8 million are in the Armed Forces,
which leaves 16.2 million to do the work.

Take from the total the 14,800,000 people
who work for State and City Governments
and that leaves 1.4 million to do the work.

At any given time there are 188,000 people in hospitals, leaving1,212,000 to do the work.

Now, there are 1,211,998 people in prisons.

That leaves just two people to do the work.

You and me!

And you are sitting at your computer
reading jokes...

How To Choose The Right IPO

Over the last year or so, the stock market has been hogging the limelight. Companies have been coming out with Intial Public Offerings (which is when the company first makes its shares available to the public by getting them listed on the stock exchange). Everyone wants to join the party and make money.

Let's say you do get in on an IPO. Here are a few things to look out for.

1. No History
It's hard enough to analyze the stock of an established company. An IPO company is even trickier to analyze since there won't be a lot of historical information. Your main source of data is the red herring, so make sure you examine this document carefully. Look for the usual information, but also pay special attention to the management team and how they plan to use the funds generated from the IPO.

2.The Lockup Period
If you look at the charts following many IPOs, you'll notice that after a few months the stock takes a steep downturn. This is often because of the lockup period. When a company goes public, the underwriters make company officials and employees sign a lockup agreement. Lockup agreements are legally binding contracts between the underwriters and insiders of the company, prohibiting them from selling any shares of stock for a specified period of time. The period can be anything from 3 to 24 months. 90 days is the minimum period stated under Rule 144 (SEC law) but the lockup specified by the underwriters can last much longer. The problem is, when lockups expire all the insiders are permitted to sell their stock. The result is a rush of people trying to sell their stock to realize their profit. This excess supply can put severe downward pressure on the stock price.

3.Avoid the Hype
Since IPOs only happen once for each company, they are often presented as "once in a lifetime" opportunities. Of course, some IPOs soar high and keep soaring. But many end up selling below their offering prices within the year. Don't buy a stock only because it's an IPO - do it because it's a good investment.

4.Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs) **
If the issue has been subscribed more in qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) followed and non-institutional section, then the probability of IPO to be a hit increases.

HAPPY BUYING

Is Friendship There For Life Time ??

We expect that friendships are for a lifetime and in case of real friendship I am sure that friendship can exist as long you live.

Friendship is one of the most important things in our lives and we all have periods with problems or we need advic
e and having a good friend to turn to is a very nice thing to have. Even if you are married or in a relationship there are always items which you prefer to talk first with your friends, dats why this is the best relation
in the world.

I always believe that friendship for life time is what counts.
But how to identify such friend ???? None can have definate answer for the question :(
There are stages in life when a friend become very important in your life and the next person moves on................
Sadly one can't do anything.
I guess my opinion is now change now as both our short and long term friendships play a significant role in this happiness.

Am I Too Demanding In My Expectations Of My Friend ?
I don't know, there are things that friend does on occasions, that really gets to me.....
I act rude.

There's three essential features of friendship:
1. There is affection between you
2. There is honesty.
3. There is trust.

There are no expectations if there is friendship, as there is no need for them.
By and large, you get out of a friendship much more than you put in - but if you put in zero trust, however much that is multiplied, it remains zero.

You own your friends simple by giving you to them

My Top 10 Twist Ending Movies

I love these movies because they had a great surprise twist at the end or i can say
For me they are best in mystery genre.

1.The Usual Suspects
is a complicated puzzle of a movie that I bet you can't watch just once. The film deals with five career crooks who have big plans after they are all brought together in a police lineup. However, their mayhem is interrupted by a mysterious character named Kaiser Sose who plans to eliminate all five of the crooks after they all crossed him in various ways during their checkered pasts. An amazing original screenplay and tight direction keep up a substantial amount of tension throughout. Gabriel Byrne, Stephen Baldwin, Benicio Del Toro, Kevin Pollak, Pete Postlethwaite, and Chazz Palminteri all give top-notch performan

2.
Memento
"Memento" is still a unique mystery thriller. It is a tantalizing experience we do not often come across at the movies. For audiences who like to sit back and relax, this film is a waste of time. It requires us to follow along, participate, fit puzzle pieces together-"Memento" doesn't provide any easy or obvious answers. All but the most ces. But it is Kevin Spacey (in an Oscar-winning part) that makes "The Usual Suspects" work on all levels

intelligent and thoughtful kids will not be able to follow this film; it is intended for adult audiences. "Memento" is one of the year's most challenging movies, not to be missed if you are looking for something clever and original.

3. Reservoir Dogs

Seven T otal Strangers Team Up For The Perfect Crime. They Don't Know Each Other's Name. But They've Got Each Other's Color. After a simple jewelery heist goes terribly wrong, the surviving criminals begin to suspect that one of them is a police informant.

4. The Sixth Sense

Malcom Crowe is a child psychologist who receives an award on the same night that he is visited by a very unhappy ex-patient. After this encounter, Crowe takes on the task of curing a young boy with the same ills as the ex-patient. This boy "sees dead people". Crowe spends a lot of time with the boy (Cole) much to the dismay of his wife. Cole's mom is at her wit's end with what to do about her son's increasing problems. Crowe is the boy's only hope

5. The Prestige
In the end of the Nineteenth Century, in London, Robert Angier, his beloved wife Julia McCullough and Alfred Borden are friends and assistants of a magician. When Julia accidentally dies during a performance, Robert blames Alfred for her death and they become enemies. Both become famous and rival magicians, sabotaging the performance of the other on the stage. When Alfred performs a successful trick, Robert becomes obsessed trying to disclose the secret of his competitor with tragic consequences

6.The Illusionist
A young boy falls in love with a girl that is way above his social standards along with the art of magic. Although the parents forbid them of seeing each other they cannot be split apart. Until one day they were found together and the boy was sent off. He became a magician and traveled the world. She fell in love with another man, the Crown Prince. The two got engaged but the boy, Eisenheim, finally meets back up with the girl and uses his powers to free her from the royal house in Vienna.

7.Fight Club
A lonely, isolated thirty-something young professional seeks an escape from his mundane existence with the help of a devious soap salesman. They find their release from the prison of reality through underground fight clubs, where men can be what the world now denies them. Their boxing matches and harmless pranks soon lead to an out-of-control spiral towards oblivion.

8.Donnie Darko
Donnie Darko doesn't get along too well with his family, his teachers and his classmates; but he does manage to find a sympathetic friend in Gretchen, who agrees to date him. He has a compassionate psychiatrist, who discovers hypnosis is the means to unlock hidden secrets. His other companion may not be a true ally. Donnie has a friend named Frank - a large bunny which only Donnie can see. When an engine falls off a plane and destroys his bedroom, Donnie is not there. Both the event, and Donnie's escape, seem to have been caused by supernatural events. Donnie's mental illness, if such it is, may never allow him to find out for sure

9.Cry Wolf

Nobody believes a liar - even when they're telling the truth. When a young woman is found murdered, a group of local high school students decide to further scare their classmates by spreading online rumors that a serial killer called "The Wolf" is on the loose. By describing "The Wolf's" next victims, the students' game is to see how many people they can convince - and if anyone will uncover the lie. But when the described victims actually do start turning up dead, suddenly no one knows where the lies end and the truth begins. As someone or something begins hunting the students themselves, the game turns terrifyingly real.

10. saw

Two men wake up at opposite sides of a dirty, disused bathroom, chained by their ankles to pipes. Between them lies a dead man loosely clutching a hand-held tape player and a handgun. Each finds a tape the perfect fit for the player in their back pocket. They play the tapes. One is threatened, the other isn't. But they have a task: One must kill the other by 6:00, or his wife and daughter will die. They find hacksaws in a toilet, and try to cut the chains, but it doesn't work. They are the two newest victims of the Jigsaw Killer. In a flashback, we learn of Amanda, a girl who falls victim to the Jigsaw Killer. On her head is a mask, which is hooked into her lower jaw. There is a timer on it. Only one key will unlock it, and that key is in the digestive tract of her cell mate who lies paralyzed on the opposite side of the room. If she doesn't unlock the mask in time, her lower jaw will be ripped wide open. She survives, but her cell mate doesn't. Through a series of flashbacks, we learn of more victims, and of the nearly-successful capture of the Jigsaw Killer, who doesn't actually kill his victims. Instead, he finds ways to make them kill either themselves, or each other, and he thinks the entire 'game' out perfectly, with no other ways out
