Best 5 alternatives to google adsense

The great list of Google Adsense Alternatives. I’ve decided to make a list of known Google Adsense Alternatives.

1. Adbrite Publishing
Adbrite is a decent contender and is ranked somewhere around the 10th largest ad network on the Internet. They work on a PPC and CPM basis. The ads are nice looking, and fairly simple. They offer some interstitial ad formats that have a higher cpm than most ads as well.

2.Bidvertiser
Bidvertiser is another good choice. The ads again look much like the Google Adsense ads, the main difference is that they sell your ad space to the highest bidder. So you automatically get the highest rates available. These ads cannot be used along Adsense, but if you are looking for an alternative this may work for you. They also have a $10 payout threshold unlike Google Adsense $100 threshold. Worth a try.

3.InfoLinks

We wrote a review over at SitePoint.com on infolinks that is actually ranked #1 for the search term “infolinks review”. This company is a newcomer to the intext link realm, but they do a really good job. The JavaScri
pt that serves there ads are minimal, so your page loads fast. The ads are very sexy looking. Sometimes they out perform chitika linx, so that’s impressive in itself. We’ve personally made a few thousand dollars with them, so we can vouch. All in all the ctr and cpc rates are excellent. You can run these type of ads side by side with google adsense or any other ads. So its bonus revenue

4.Smowtion
Smowtion Media is an online marketing company that pays the webmasters and bloggers to put ads on theis websites or blogs. Where the ads come from? The ads come from companies that hire the Smowtion Media. You only have to assign a space on your site that is managed by Smowtion.

IPOvsFPO

assume that u understand IPO per se. IPO is raising funds from public for the very first time(by sharing the ownership with them) while issuing more shares in the public for the want of more funds is called FPO.

An
initial public offering (IPO) referred to simply as an "offering" or "flotation," is when a company (called the issuer) issues common stock or shares to the public for the first time. They are often issued by smaller, younger companies seeking capital to expand, but can also be done by large privately-owned companies looking to become publicly traded.

In an IPO the issuer may obtain the assistance of an underwriting firm, which helps it determine what type of security to issue (common or preferred), best offering price and time to bring it to market.

An IPO can be a risky investment. For the individual investor it is tough to predict what the stock or shares will do on its initial day of trading and in the near future since there is often little historical data with which to analyze the company. Also, most IPOs are of companies going through a transitory growth period, and they are therefore subject to additional uncertainty regarding their future value.

A follow-on offering (often called secondary offering) is an issuance of stock to the company's initial public offering A follow-on offering can be either of two types (or a mixture of both): dilutive and non-dilutive. A secondary offering is an offering of securities by a shareholder of the company (as opposed to the company itself, which is a primary offering). A follow on offering is preceded by release of prospectus similar to IPO.

Friday the 13th - Explaining the Myth

Today is Friday the 13th, A day everyone is aware of and is often considered with bad luck or ill fate. The superstition is hovering upon the whole world and it is in fact the most feared day. The legend no body really is aware of but still everyone believes.

Lets begin with the two most ill fated happenings that occurred on Friday.
The first is set in the beginning of mankind. Friday was the day on which Eve tempted Adam and there itself begin the evolution of mankind and evolution of knowledge. But it's also considered the fall of mankind cause Satan succeeded in his mission.
The second is the crucifixion of Christ which was again carried on a Friday.

But what's with the 13th? A thousand years ago a French King conquered the holy city of Jerusalem. The massive crusade was actually orchestrated by a secret brotherhood - The priory of Sion. Their military arm was known as 'The Knights Templar'. The invasion was to find an artifact lost since the time of Christ. It was supposedly said that the the importance of the artifact was so grave that the church would have killed to possess it. One day the Templar stopped searching. They quit the holy land and traveled to Rome. They either blackmailed the Papacy or church bought their silence that Papacy declared these Priory Knights or the Knights Templar with limitless power.

By 1300, the Templar had grown too powerful and threatening. So the Vatican issued secret orders to be opened simultaneously all over the Europe. The Pope had declared these Templar the Satan worshipers and said that God has charged him with cleansing the earth of these heretics. The plan worked and the Knights Templar were all but exterminated, butchered, burned alive. The bloodshed was carried out on 'October 13th 1307', a 'Friday'. 'Friday the 13th'.

Although when Pope sent troops to claim the Priory's treasure they found that few surviving Knights of the Priory had vanished and the search of their artifact - 'The Holy Grail' began again and the truth still remains closed.

So this is the most promising history of the unlucky Friday the 13th for me.

Best Firefox Addons

Firefox has quietly become a forgotten browser lately, with Google Chrome taking on the mantle of preferred geek browser. Don't let the hype fool you. Firefox holds roughly 30% of the browser market, second only to Internet Explorer. And while Google Chrome may grab headlines for its excellent extensions (including the fake ones), Firefox takes a back seat to no one in the browser plug-in department.

Below is the my preferred Firefox add-ons to improve your browsing experience

The Web Developer
The Web Developer extension adds a menu and a toolbar with various web developer tools.

FireBug
Firebug integrates with Firef
ox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse.
You can e

s, cache, recent tabs and sending of referrer header for as l
ong as you want. It’s lot like the incognito mode in Google chrome. Distrust is another similar addon that allows you to acheive the similar results.

Panic
Panic allows you to instantly close all the open tabs and replace it with another tab of your choice. So next time while you are on facebook and your boss drops to check in just hit Alt + ` and you would be taken to predefined page in no time.

Yslow
YSlow analyzes web pages and suggests ways to improve their performance based on a set of rules for high performance web pages. YSlow is a Firefox add-on integrated with the Firebug web development tool. YSlow grades web page based on one of three predefined ruleset or a user-defined ruleset. It offers suggestions for improving the page's performance, summarizes the page's components, displays statistics about the page, and provides tools for performance analysis, including Smush.it™ and JSLint.

NoScript
An absolute must have security addon for your browser. NoScript gives you the power to specify the sites you trust and only those sites will be allowed to run active content like Javascript, Java code and other executable code. The addon thus protects you from cross-site scripting attacks and clickjacking attacks.

Why MSN rank So high in alexa ?

I think if MSN has so many page views
I tried so often MSN for search but never got the results I need. Another reason why MSN has so many counts is that the Alexa tool bar is an Internet Explorer add-on and MSN is the default search in IE.

MSN has so much traffic, because all the newbies use it. Don’t forget that IE redirects you to MSN when you have an unreachable site.
